The 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is largely unchanged from the 2020 model year, although there are some minor changes to feature availability and amenities on this year’s SUV. The Wrangler Unlimited is the four-door version of the Jeep Wrangler model, which is also produced in a two-door configuration. The same Unlimited trims are available in 2021 as the 2020 model year, but the doors and tops can now be removed on select trim levels. For the first time, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is available with a forward-facing camera designed for off-road exploration. Full-time four-wheel drive is also now available on the Rubicon trim level. Some special edition variants join the Wrangler Unlimited lineup this year, including 80th and Islander limited editions. A much-anticipated EcoDiesel engine is now offered for the Wrangler Unlimited as well.
Jeep is a brand name associated with capable and durable off-road vehicles. This year, the Wrangler Unlimited builds on that tradition with a more versatile and adaptable exterior than ever. The Wrangler’s doors and top can be removed on select trims for a fresh air driving experience. A series of seven paint colors provides many options for giving the Wrangler the look you want. There are also multiple wheel options offered for the Unlimited with different wheel sizes and colors. For the Rubicon trim, you can also order hardy all-terrain tires that are designed to provide extra traction and support while you traverse challenging terrain. Soft tops and hard tops are available for the Wrangler Unlimited in 2021, including body-colored roofs and black roofs for a dual color scheme.
Along with a versatile exterior design, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited provides drivers with more options for power than before. Now, along with the long list of gasoline engines, the 2021 Unlimited can be configured with an EcoDiesel engine. This turbo-charged engine creates up to 260 HP and 442 LB-FT in torque. This power output is enough to tow 3,500 pounds, and it gives the Wrangler Unlimited a commendable fuel economy rating. Four-wheel drive is still available on the Unlimited this year, but you can now configure select trims, including the Rubicon, with full-time four-wheel drive. Previously, only part-time four-wheel drive was available.
